As a Host, Cashier, or Carryout team member, you're the first and last impression of every Pasta House visit — greeting guests, managing the door, ringing up orders, and sending carryout out the door hot and correct.
A day in the role
You're the first hello and the last goodbye — working the door and the waitlist, answering a ringing phone, and building a stack of carryout bags that go out hot and exactly right, all at once. When the lobby is packed and the to-go orders are stacking up, you're the calm that keeps it moving.
What you’ll do
- Greet every guest warmly and manage seating and the waitlist
- Answer phones and take carryout and to-go orders
- Ring up orders and handle cash and card payments accurately
- Assemble and double-check carryout orders for accuracy
- Keep the entry, host stand, and carryout area clean and organized
- Communicate clearly with servers and the kitchen
What we’re looking for
- A friendly, organized, guest-first attituderequired
- Comfort handling money and a point-of-sale systemrequired
- Availability including nights, weekends, and holidaysrequired
- Prior experience (a plus — we'll train the right person)
